Roseville And Madison Heights Campuses Collaborate Open Lab Saturdays!

Are you a Dorsey student who has attended an open lab on Saturday with our medical faculty?

Every 3rd and 5th week of each module we have traditionally had our medical faculty on staff at 11am on Saturday to assist students to practice and hone their medical skills.
Starting For The Spring B Module:
We have decided to increase the availability of our open labs by moving them to the Saturdays on weeks 2 and 4. We will be partnering with our Madison Heights campus and they will host open labs on weeks 3 and 5. All Roseville students are welcome to attend these workshops at our neighboring campus.

Why attend an Open Lab?
-    A great chance to hone the skills you’d like to master or the ones you may be having difficulty with.

-    Instructors are available to work even more closely with you; many times one on one.

-    To learn extra skills which are not normally part of the curriculum (ie. I will be conducting a suturing workshop.  Ms. Martell will be conducting a workshop on growing cultures. Dates to be determined).

-    A great opportunity to work with students from other programs and meet faculty that you may not have had classes with yet.  Working with a variety of instructors is a great way to sample the best of what our excellent Dorsey medical faculty has to offer

-    You can just never get enough practice!
If you haven’t attended a weekend Open Lab, there is no better time to try it out. Keep an eye out for specialty workshops and we hope to see you there!
