Dorsey is Fundraising for the remainder of October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month...Show your support!

 

Evening & Culinary Student’s Jeans Days

Thursdays - October 11th , 18th  & 25th

Morning, Mid-Day and Afternoon Student’s Jeans Days

Fridays - October 12th , 19th & 26th

Students may participate in Jeans Days for a $1 dollar donation for each day, payable at any front reception desk.  Staff & Faculty donation is $2 dollars.

(Please consult your instructor regarding appropriate attire for class on designated jeans days)

Exercise Your Right To Vote!

On Tuesday, November 6, the United States will be holding elections for the President of the United States. In addition, within the State of Michigan we will be voting for the following:

·         U.S. Senator

·         U.S. Representative in Congress

·         State Representative

·         State Board of Education

·         University of Michigan Regents

·         Michigan State University Trustees

·         Wayne State University Governors

·         Justice of the Supreme Court

·         Judge of the Court of Appeals

·         Judge of the Circuit Court

·         Judge of the District Court

·         Judge of Probate

·         County Offices

·         Specified School District Positions

·         Various Proposals (State & Local)

 

Do not allow others to make choices for you!  The deadline to register to vote is Tuesday, October 9.  Applications will be available to register to vote at Dorsey Schools-Roseville. Ms. Caldwell will mail them out on Monday, October 8. Make sure to register. Non partisan information will be provided about the general candidates and proposals for your review.
