Special Thanks To Turning Point
Representatives from Turning Point www.turningpointmacomb.org visited the Dorsey Roseville Campus on July 26, 27, and 28. The information given to our students about their mission and available programs such as the 24 hour crisis line and the Nurse Forensics program was very informative. Several students asked about volunteer opportunities to help at either the shelter, Second Hand Rose resale shop or even the courts. Thank you to Claudine, Charisa, and Carmen for very inspiring presentations that made a tremendous impact on students and staff as well.

It’s week 6 of Summer ‘A’
So as we wind down the Summer ‘A’ module I hope that you have gained confidence in who you are and what you are capable of accomplishing, each module that you complete brings you that much closer to your dreams. Stay focused this week on successfully completing your final examinations, then step back and give yourself a round of applause. Mr. Thisse gave some very good tips on how to prepare yourself for testing and I hope you will use them.
The Summer B module will be an exciting one as we have many events planned for each week. The biggest of course will be our annual school picnic held on campus. Watch the bulletin boards for more info and pictures of previous picnics.
The school will be open during your break so you can come in to use the computer labs and keep your skills up. Hours will be Monday through Friday from 9 am until 5 pm.
Have a great Week!
