Dorsey Roseville

Student Advisory Board

PURPOSE

To act as a voice and sounding board for the student body in improving programs and services by communicating thoughts, ideas and concerns to Dorsey administrators, faculty and staff. Through this dialogue, we hope to create a positive learning environment that focuses on the core values of Dorsey School - Roseville.

MEMBERS

The board will consist of 8 to 12 students, representing each of Dorsey Schools’ programs. Dorsey administrators, faculty and staff members will also attend on a rotating basis.

APPLICATIONS

Applications are available in Buildings A and C at the front desk.  Initial applications are due by Friday, Nov 4, 2011. New members will continually be added as existing members graduate.

REQUIREMENTS

You must be in good academic standing with a minimum 3.5 grade point average, with the recommendation of an instructor.  The board will be selected by Dorsey administrators. 

COMMITMENT

The board will meet two to three times during each six-week module.  Meetings will be at 5:00pm during the week. Students must be available to meet at this time.
